So I´m a little behind.
I started reading this when it first came out, and loved it, but I moved to Sweden and gave up comics for a while. It´s taken me eighteen years to start these again. Well worth the wait.
This is seriously great. It manages to be about terrible people and events, and is still joyous.
And it references so many other comics and tropes that it´s almost an alternative history.
My main fear through-out the series wasn´t so much that characters would die, but rather that they would morally fail. That´s writing on a different order.
And the art is simply breath-taking.
